Luxury Car Hyundai iX-Onic Concept Car

Hyundai ix-onic concept is a preview for the next generation Tucson crossover that will debut end of the year. Currently we don’t know how many styling cues will be taken from the concept to the production model, but we hope a lot. Questionable marketing decisions aside, the ix-onic, which previews the next Tucson crossover, is a winner. Aesthetically, it has some mildly derivative elements (the face has a certain Mazda quality about it), but it's a good-looking vehicle that comes off bigger and more muscular than its 173-inch length suggests. In other words, it's got presence.
The exterior also has some innovative touches, including headlamps with cool – if slightly contrived – moving internal elements (check out the video after the jump), and as well a coral-like asymmetrical grille mesh and very strong upswept greenhouse that shows off a clean, less hard-edged interior. That said, we could do without the heavy-handed chrome wheels that look like they were cribbed from the guys over at West Coast Customs.
Hyundai’s European designers have done a great job. ix-onic concept looks a lot bigger than it actually is. In fact it is only 4,400 mm long and 1,850 mm wide.
Interestingly, with the ix-onic, Hyundai designers are now going on record saying they are working toward defining a "hexagonal" front graphic as the company's new universal corporate face.
How the latter proclamation fits in with new offerings like the Genesis Sedan and Coupe or the Equus is something of an open question (perhaps this is just on designs for the European market), but as aesthetic signatures go, we can see this idea working to Hyundai's advantage, as the company's offerings currently don't really have a familial design element to tie them together.
The ix-onic – pronounced "ik-sonnik" – makes use of Hyundai's brand-new 1.6-liter GDi turbo four-cylinder, which routes its 168 horsepower through a six-speed double-clutch transmission (a bit of tech we don't recall seeing from Hyundai before), and the drivetrain has stop-start tech to help it yield a commendably low 149 grams-per-kilometer of C02. With Hyundai's previous admission that the company will move toward all direct-injection engines, we can expect to see this powerplant coming to America in the next Tucson, although perhaps not immediately.

2010 Renaissance Bugatti Sports Cars Concept

2010 Bugatti Sports Cars Concept Renaissance
The 2010 Bugatti Renaissance is a concept car created by Canadian designer John Mark Vicente. He is a graduate of the Communication Design program at the Emily Carr University, has come up with some ideas of his own. Look like it’s same with Bugatti Veyron Supercar, but it’s his proposal for next supercar from Bugatti. Come with Veyron, 16-cylinder, but it’s still concept car.
Along with the obvious genes from the current Veyron, the Bugatti Renaissance Design Concept throws in some touches of the Audi R8 and some serious styling.
The Renaissance is a model based on the Bugatti Veyron, the vehicle that replaces it. Although running on the same platform as the Veyron, the exterior design of this concept Bugatti is far more aggressive, and overall…better.
At the front of the car, the grill has grown in size and the headlights have been redesigned, now resembling the ones on the Audi R8 and also it has a carbon fiber skirt that fits great. Above the cockpit we notice that the twin roof vents are now slightly larger.
At the back, there are two larger vents, redesigned tail lights and the Bugatti logo framed by a red line that goes all the way to the roof scoops. The car uses impressive 26 inch rims.
Released as the fastest and costliest car when it hit the market, the impressive Veyron was an absolute stunner. Equipped with an 8.0 litre W16 engine delivering an incredible 1001 horses, Veyron had a top speed of 408.5 kmph (253.8 mph). It catapulted from standstill to 100kmph in just 2.5 seconds and cost above 1.55 million U.S. dollars.

This car looks simple and minimalis design but this car is fiat pand hydrogen have modern in hydrogen because this car use concept design for hydrogen car. Fiat has unveiled the Panda Hydrogen, a concept vehicle powered by an innovative fuel cell system, capable of delivering all the necessary power without the need for drive batteries. The Panda Hydrogen is equipped with a fuel cell system called "Full Power": it lacks a drive battery for the accumulation of electrical energy that in most fuel cell vehicles is needed for acceleration. Panda Hydrogen is the result of a joint venture between Fiat Auto, the Fiat Research Centre and Fiat Powertrain Research & Technology with the support of the Research and Environment Ministries. It features performances a urban use: it accelerates from 0 to 50 km/m in less than 5 seconds and can reach a top speed of 130 km/h. The hydrogen tank capacity guarantees the Panda Hydrogen a range of more than 200 km over an urban cycle. Refuelling time is very quick at less than 5 minutes, i.e. comparable to the time taken to refuel a methane car.The electrical power generation system is supplied with hydrogen at a pressure of 1.5 bars and oxygen contained in the air. It produces electrical energy so efficiently that 60% is available at just 20% of maximum power. The alternating current three-phase asynchronous electric engine and the transmission are located in the engine compartment together with the various auxiliary systems. Though Fuel Cell propulsion systems will not be widely available before 15-20 years, in 2006 Fiat will start a field research phase with some demonstration Panda Hydrogen fleets.

I don't think we've said this since at least yesterday, but when it comes to cars, Europe gets the best stuff. What you see above is only a concept, but it was dreamed up by Daniel Paulin, the gent who created Ford's C-Max -- which is a Europe-only offering -- as well as the original Focus concept and the FAB1 ship from the Thunderbirds film. Paulin left Ford, moved home to Sweden, and started the Paulin Motor Company. Its first product is this, a 2-seater called the VR Concept. Part Speed Racer, part sea creature, it's swoopy and planed at the same time. The lifting canopy is a pretty nifty evolution of Saab's Aero X jet fighter-style raising canopy. With that and the scissor doors, ingress and egress should be simple by even the most supercar-challenged body shapes. It would also make ejector seat installation a snap. Paulin is looking for partners to help put the car into production, and in the mean time will be producing three concepts per year, as well as an actual model for a motor show. As far as the VR goes, Mr. Paulin, we'll take it.

I have studied the development of the last decennium and believe this is a logical development where I have tried to create shapes where controlled sculptural surfaces meets dynamic graphical break-ups, says Daniel Paulin, CEO and Creative Director of Paulin Motor Company. Paulin Motor Company has used Opticore visualization solutions to produce images and real-time presentation environments. - Opticore Real Time Ray Tracing has helped my product to come to live, Daniel Paulin says. Since there is no physical mock-up, Opticore solutions have given me a great solution to demonstrate my vehicle for prospective partners.

Its very interesting times for the high end visualization business. With Opticores tools, the boundary in-between virtual reality and real life is now removed. The quality has reached a level where many design decisions can be made with out the need of physical prototypes. Paulin currently involved on several design projects around the globe will continue to launch concepts to highlights trends and ideas of where automotive are and should develop. The concept car features several creative solutions both from a design and a technical perspective. With its proportion the car is a pure 2 seated GT concept. Cockpit feeling is inspired by modern jet-fighters. The windshield/roof is hinge in the cowl area. In open position, the doors can be open independently.

The rear wing is integrated in body with a flush condition. In use it moves up and rotates to create appropriate down force. Camera mirrors in the shape of blades, located above the rear fender for best visibility. The view can be seen on a wide display just above the instrument panel. In the interior, less is more - 2 bucket seats, steering wheel, gear shifter and a control unit. Paulin continues. This concept car is a pure driving oriented vehicle where the design intent is all about simplicity and functionality in true Scandinavian fashion.
